The art world is now recognizing De Rubeis as "THE FATHER OF CONCEPTUAL MOVEMENT." De Rubeis' paintings bring to you the world of celestial abstraction that captures colored soaked light which appears to spring from De Rubeis' art. With his soft lines, he weaves together forms of metal sculpture and paint to make his composition flow in harmony.
Each work is a unique original as De Rubeis uses structures and waves of light to build weightless, diaphanous forms. Colors flow seamlessly from one hue to the next, while the transparency of his layers of paint creates the illusion of incredible depth.

De Rubeis won the prestige's ARTV Award that was held in Las Vegas at the MGM grand hotel. The awards ceremony will be nationally televised summer of 2006.This was the first ever official "Golden Globe Style" awards program for artist. De Rubeis was the recipient of the ''New Movement" award. Since then De Rubeis' art has been recognized nationally as "THE FATHER OF CONCEPTUAL MOVEMENT."
