DeRubeis won the prestige's ARTV Award that was held in Las Vegas at the MGM grand hotel. The awards ceremony will be nationally televised summer of 2006.This was the first ever official "Golden Globe Style" awards program for artist. DeRubeis was the recipient of the ''New Movement" award. Since then DeRubeis' art has been recognized nationally as "THE FATHER OF CONCEPTUAL MOVEMENT."
